On 5 March 2026, Chaukhamba was honoured with the India Pride Award 2025 by Dainik Bhaskar, one of India’s leading news groups. The award was conferred at a ceremony held at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, by Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of India.

The recognition acknowledges Chaukhamba’s sustained work in education, health awareness, social empowerment, and youth development, as well as its continued efforts to support underprivileged and marginalized communities.

Prayas Aavasiya Vidyalayas are operated by the Department of SC and ST Development, Government of Chhattisgarh.

In the 2024-25 academic session, 122 students from schools run by the department qualified for JEE Advanced. Among them, 95 students were mentored by faculties associated with Chaukhamba at Prayas Residential Schools in Raipur, Korba, Ambikapur, and Jashpur. This represents a 77.86% conversion rate to JEE Advanced among students mentored at Chaukhamba-supported centres, the highest result recorded in the history of Prayas Aavasiya Vidyalayas.
